About Us
My husband, Steve Thoner and I moved to this area of Maine about 25 years ago. He was a custom home builder. He built our home and the house overlooking Walker Pond. In early 2000 he opened The Granite Shop, a granite fabrication business in Sedgwick, ME and now boasts the largest inventory of anyone in all of New England. I am a teacher in a very small K-8 school in Brooklin, ME. We live in the main house on Little Deer Isle with our two cats.
The goal of our rentals is to allow others to enjoy a slice of Maine like we have. We work hard to keep our rates reasonable, and to be as accommodating as possible given our work schedules. Nothing brings us more joy than making others happy. This is truly a wonderful place, and we want others to discover it and enjoy it as much as we do.

We are not set up to accept credit cards but do accept cash, personal checks or money orders.
Eggemoggin Reach is an entertaining parade of boats of all types.
This 225ft. pier has benches at the end so you can enjoy the sea birds and boats as you sit and read or visit. You will also have access to 2 kayaks and a row boat if you like to get onto the water.
